I was curious if anyone could explain what the info on this sheet means for a tournament I'm interested in.
It's called a "Sweeper Tournament".
The info on the sheet is as follows:
*4 Game Qualifier
*Payout 1-4 Entries
*$35 entry fee
*$100 Paid to Top Qualifier
*Handicap 90% of 220
*$500 to First place
Based on 30 Entries.
My questions are as follows:
What exactly is a sweeper tournament?
What does it mean by 4 game qualifier? Just as it implies? Bowl 4 games...if you qualify you move on?
What is the payout for entries 1-4? Only top 4 finishers will be included in payout?
Also, our handicap's for league are based on 100% of 220, so how will that affect this tournament? My average is 173 so my handicap is 47. Will my handicap change for the tournament? Will it be 42?

Hopefully if I bowl as well as I did tonight I'll be able to place pretty well...623 series...227, 214, 182.
