I had the BW and NM for few months and had some success with them, but limited. They both seemed to get squirely after a while for me.
Be very, very, quiet please, I'm hunting ten pins and it's easier when they're not spooked

alot of things come into play when choosing a ball. i throw a cranker most times however i can also play a tweener line when the conditions dictate. also ive found the number one thing that has really defined my average is my spare game. as my spare shooting continues to improve so does my average! good luck and happy bowling

If you are new to hooking the ball then you need to experiment. Try a really low rg ball and see how it works for you. Next try a ball that has a high RG.
For example I am your typical cranker. High ball speed w/ 70deg axis rotation and 30deg of axis tilt. I struggle with high rg stuff because it simply goes too long. I throw it through the breakpoint or its just really jumpy. I prefer low rg equipment with smaller denser weight blocks. So all the BW balls are a really bad fit for me.
Check with your proshop guy and tell him what you are doing. He will be able to offer suggestions about layouts etc. He may even have something used that you can pick up for very little $$ since you are experimenting. Just remember that just because 20 guys in league are throwing XYZ ball, it doesn't mean that its the right ball for you.
