Wednesday scores. 225(missed 7 pin, left 4 pin 2 7s and 2 10s), 213(missed 10 pin and 7/10 split left 1 7 and 3 10s), 191(missed big 4 and 6/7/10 split, left 4 10s)...629. Left a 4 pin a 9 pin and 3 7s and 9 10 pins. Just NO carry! But we won 4.

Thursday night scores. 197(2/4/10 and 4/7/9), 177(chopped 2 off the 8, 4/6/7/9/10 and 4/7/10), 235(clean)...609. At least we won all 4.

2/15 TGIF League


- 205 - 248 - 240 = 693 Series, 72 game average 217.96

- made myself use my First Blood again tonight, ball worked great. First game was just a case of not having my feet under me properly..would stick one time then slip the next. got it under control in the second game.


3,480 / 15 = 232.00 with the First Blood the last 5 nights bowling.

Newbie to the site

First time out in a while for me, I just recently purchased a Brunswick Aura Paranormal, and a T-Zone spare ball, and had yet to test them out. Thought I might be doomed, as the first ball I threw after getting the Aura drilled at the shop was a strike.

Went to Mid-Way lanes in Vestal, NY, never bowled there before. They set me up on lane 31, and I rolled two games, shot a 179 in game 1, and a 212 in the 2nd. That spare ball saved a couple ten-pin leaves that I would've had a hard time picking up otherwise. An open in the 5th doomed my 2nd game from being a good 20+ higher. Have to say, love the new equipment. My average years ago, was barely 170, if even that. With time, and tools, apparently, I've gotten a little better for the moment!

I should mention that I've used a number of balls that a friend of mine has, we're drilled very similar. But these are the first ones I've actually purchased for myself. I'm a recreational person for now, but I'm looking to schedule myself into a league next year to get back into it!

2/24 Weekend Warriors League


- 181 - 211 - 279 = 671 Series, 36 game average 218.14


- 1st two games proves you shouldn't bowl if your "head" isn't in the game and your upset and unable to focus. Finally, half-a** got it together the last game with a 279, nine strikes in a row sandwiched in between two 9/'s.

well a bittersweet night I bowled well, no opens, 118 POA, in fact the whole bowled well. As a team we shot over ave. every game for 167 pins over on total and we only spotted the other team 32 pins a game, it was position night too and we were tied for 7th. We lost every game.

The other team bowled 286 pins over, they had a 169 ave. shoot 642 and a 151 ave. shoot 548

lost the 1st game by 21, next one by 23 and the last by 60

But we felt good we bowled well. , well next back at it.

3/1 TGIF Couples League


- 279 - 226 - 268 = 773 Series, 78 game average 220.40

-another great night and all with the Hammer First Blood. The first game was a 9 bagger sandwiched between to 9/'s, darn 10 pins!

- 27 games and 6,260 pins for an average of 231.85 so far with this ball. Haven't thrown anything since drilling up this ball!

3/3/2013 Weekend Warriors League


- 215 - 278 - 235 = 728 Series, 39 game average 220.03

-still on an unbelievable run with the Hammer First Blood! I've used it the last 5 weeks on my Friday league and am averaging 242.13, and the last 5 weeks on Sunday I am averaging 223.7, for a 30 game average of 232.93!

- another thing I must make note of, in the last 4 Series, 2 on Fri and 2 on Sunday, I've had at least 1 game in the 270's. A 275, two 279's, and now a 278.
