Finally, I stopped my 6 week downward slide in average. Drilled up a Hammer Taboo and a Hammer Brawl last Saturday and got to use them in league tonight. Changed my thumb pitch from 1/4 reverse and 0 left/right, to 1/4 reverse and 1/4 left. It made a world of difference, now I just need to reslug my other balls, especially my spare ball and I'll be all set.

Kinda satisfying knowing that I drilled both of these balls myself with the help of the proshop guy where I work part time. He double checked everything before I actually drilled into each hole to make sure I was on the lines properly.

Anneke's scores for January 13, 2011.....another great week!!

Hello Everyone,

This past week was another great week of bowling for me. My scores for January 13, 2011 were:

1st Game: 126 - 30 pins over my average
2nd Game: 128 - 32 pins over my average
3rd Game: 119 - 23 pins over my average

I bowled a 373 series and my average went up from 96 to 98.

It was during the third game that I had a bit of an incident. I went up to bowl in the third frame and bowled a strike. I turned around and gave a high five to the woman bowling next to me and as I was going up the ramp, one of my wheels came off the ramp and I went flying backwards! My arms and legs went flying in the air, but I managed not to hurt myself. And I left a skidmark on the ramp, too. It was scary but funny at the same time.

I hope everyone had a great week on their league(s) last week and have a great week this week. I hope I do.

Another Mission to Prodigy Night

Started with a 236 with the Mission, 2nd game 257 started with the mission finished with the Prodigy, and the 3rd was a 247 with the Prodigy.

740 series one open in the first game, flagged a ten pin.

54 game average 236, having a great year. Would love to shoot these kind of numbers at Nationals in April.

It was another good week for me....and I didn't have any accidents, like last week when I flipped over.

My scores were:

1st Game: 117 - 19 pins over my average
2nd Game: 112 - 14 pins over my average
3rd Game: 102 - 4 pins over my average

I bowled a 331 series and maintained my 98 average.

This week I had a 738 in our Friday morning league, my games were 211+237+290=738 I used my Roto Grip Mutant Cell Pearl, I did have 3 open frames in this weeks series and used a 2000 abralon pad on my ball before we started.

Well I must say that this past week was another good week. My scores for January 27, 2011 were:

1st Game: 109
2nd Game: 97
3rd Game: 110

I bowled a 316 series and brought my average up from a 98 to a 99.
