Anneke's scores for April 7, 2011....Not a good start to April

Hi Everyone,

Well I had an off night at bowling last night and not a good way to start a new month. My scores were

1st Game: 122 - 21 pins over my average
2nd Game: 80 - 21 pins under my average
3rd Game: 93 - 8 pins under my average

I bowled a 295 series and my average is still at 101.

I hope everyone has done well on their league nights and has a great weekend!

4/8 TGIF Couples League


- 202 - 257 - 242 = 701 Series, 84 game average 227.19

-finally had back to back 700's and upped my average from the 226 I've been at the last month or so. still using the Brawl, still working great. might have to get another one while they're still available.

Monday night scores. 288(1st 10 then fast 8, spare), 224(2 tens and a 7, missed 1 ten and the 7), 275(clean game)...787. Choked away the 800 by missing 2 easy spares the 2nd game.

- 258 - 234 - 234 = 726 Series, 87 game average 227.70


- 3 weeks left total in the season, with position night on the 29th of April, and Sweepstakes night on May 6th.

-again, went with my go-to ball, my Hammer Brawl; ball is just phenomenal. going to have to get another one to put aside for later use. lol

Anneke's scores for April 14, 2011....a much better week

Well this week was definitely a much better week than last week. I even improved my average by a point. My scores were:

1st Game: 139......38 pins over my average
2nd Game: 100......I missed my average by 1 pin
3rd Game: 113.......12 pins over my average.

I bowled a 352 series and my average went from 101 to 102.

For some reason my second game was my roughest. I keep getting splits and I kept missing shots that are usually so easy for me to get.

I hope everyone has done well on their league nights and is having a great weekend.

This week I had a 713 series In my Friday morning bowling league. My games were 246+233+234 for the series. I used my Storm Reign with the 1000 grit abralon surface finish. I did however have 2 open frames I missed a 10, pin and had a 4,7,10 split.

4/22 TGIF Couples League


- 207 - 204 - 299 = 710 Series, 90 Game average 228.00

- turned a subpar night into a very good night with the last game. felt like i was shooting craps and rolled "7" the hard way. lol started the night with my go to ball, my Brawl, but just didn't feel comfortable. kept pushing my pushaway to the right which brought my swing behind me and my follow thru to the right which was causing me to project the ball to far to the right. switched to my Taboo the second game and finally figured out what i was doing with my swing, but just wasn't carrying like i needed to. so at the start of the third game i switched to my Infection and almost shot my 3rd 300 but was stopped short by another 10 pin for my 7th 299 game...lol
