So is the new black widow going to be a heavy oil ball then? Because i own the buzzbomb and luv it. So when I saw this ball I luv the color. The buzzbomb is the only ball I have. So I'm Liking to add the black widow venom to my buzzbomb ball mate. but have yet to decide what my third ball will be. But if the black widow venom is heavy then I have to decide what my second and third ball will be. Because I bowl on wood lanes and sythentic lanes. So If some one can help me out that be great. P.S. no vid on my bowling but If U ask me can let u know my style.

I have the luxury of bowling on OLD wood, new wood, Synthetics, and "PBA" Synthetics. The last being the hardest surfaces I have ever bowled on. Anyway this is what I did to round out my gear-
Short Oil-
Storm "El Nino Returns"- Ball drilled with no grips pin just below index finger to bring my revs under 350 giving me good length and control
shooting a line standing 5 left of center out to the 10-12.
Global900 Break "Pearl"- 4" pin well above the fingers and a VAL of 20% we also played with the PAP a bit and the result is an incredibly long rolling ball with a tight, predictable track to the heads. Normal line for this ball is 10 left of center out to the 3-5.
Medium to Long oil-
Hammer "Widow Bite"- 3.5" pin above finger. The cover stock on this ball reads very well and with the pin up makes for a very smooth rolling track. Line I play is 5 right of center straight out over the 5.
Global900 Break "Solid"- 2.5" pin under ring finger. Drilled for amazing early read and "bank on it" performance. Typical Line is Center out to the 3-5.
Storm "Attitude Shift"- 2.5" pin under index finger. Love this ball for great control on carry down. Line standing 5 left of center out to the 10-12.
I have had the benefit of a PBA member who drills everything for me and has spent hours watching my game and then tailoring the balls/drilling to match my style rather than me having to adjust to a new ball. HUGE adjustment that has added easily 20 pins per game. GL with your search and the best to ya!Last edited by McCallum; 05-29-2008, 02:00 PM.***To be the best is never an option... I doubt they would make a heavy oil ball that goes long and flips. I would guess on heavy oil it would just go long. Any "heavy oil" ball is going to have a lot of mid lane and not a lot of snap on the back. You need more of a hook/roll ball than a skid/flip unless of course you just love a over/under ball reaction.
