As we all are well aware - this sport is just about as mental as they come - If you recall - as your bowling, and you have a string set going - you think - don't do anything different - or we just call it "the zone."
I own a business and I can say after 911, business as not been as productive as before - and I can see a difference in my way of thinking - I had to overcome the stress and lack of focus - I did this by channeling my bowling game as my release. When I go shoot games, I don't think about nothing other than hitting my mark - even if I score bad - I focus on the points that I accomplished right and recall my faults to improve. It's all because of bad execution - your focus is your starting point -
My suggestion - make bowling a release point from all your other life issues, everyone needs a break - and I chose this sport as my point break. Since doing this - my game as increased and I don't ever blame my game on my emotional state, as if I didn't feel good, tired, etc. It's a whole new focus and placement issue when I go shoot games. I know it's hard at times - but it will make you better overall - overcome this and you'll see yourself overtaking many other obstacles in your game.
Focus, Focus, concentrate, and be aggressive - it is a good way to use the break and focus - and of course it's better than drinking and thinking about it.
Good Luck....
My longetivity issue in my game - stupid shots at the end of a 6 or 7 bagger. Still haven't found a way to overcome that consistently.
