which team bowls first?

Can anyone direct me to the rule that specifies which player must bowl first, last week this little friendly argument came up as niether team wanted to be the first to bowl in the 10th frame of a very close game, someone said bowler "on the right" must bowl first, is this true or just a myth. any input appreciated.

The first bowler on the lane goes first. If you both get there at the same time, the bowler to the right is given the right-of-way.

This is just bowling etiquette it's not a ""Written"" rule.

Heres the Rule
USBC Rule 106b.
Order of Bowling
Members of competing teams shall successively, and in regular order, bowl one frame on one lane, and for the next frame alternate and use the other lane until five frames are bowled on each lane of the pair.
1. No changes can be made in the order of players after the start of a game.
2. When a team bowls against another team or alone, the next frame may be started prior to completion of the previous frame, unless the league rules state otherwise.

Now if you want simple way to know who goes first in the tenth.
Just look at who started the game.

If team "A" leads off the first frame, then team "B" would be up first for the tenth.
If team "B" leads off the first frame, then team "A" would be up first for the tenth.
