  • 5 Steps to 4

Has anyone made the switch lately?

    4 step

When I started out bowling for good score, I had a 3 step aproach to the line. I switched to 4 steps and it took me a while to get that 4th step in with confidence. I had to learn to hold the ball longer, you'll need to start ealier with your swing if your trying to drop the 5th step.

That said, it could take a while to explain how to make the adjustment to where it's understandable in this post, but I know there are a few video's on YouTube that can explain it probably better than I could write it. So I'll just post a link to one of them and you could surf for other ideas to help you get to what you want.

    Hope this helps you out.

Be very, very, quiet please, I'm hunting ten pins and it's easier when they're not spooked

I think I have become too mechanical and over emphasizing the pushaway, perhaps pushing it out too far. I'm going to have to work on that.

i currently use four steps but am thinking of trying 5 steps over the summer to see how it affects my timing.
