What effect if any, does the bridge gap between the fingers have with the delivery of the ball?

IMO, i think it's a comfort thing... however, I have seen some people say that the wider the gap is, the more revs they can get on the ball... how true that is, i'm not sure. -
1/4" is usually the minimum for the bridge, don't know how it would affect anything other than the comfort factor mentioned above.WWW.PinSplittersProShop.com
