    Hello fellow bowlers,am 60 years old and have taken-up bowling,am trying to learn to throw a hook ball,am having trouble with my delivery sometimes I get a pretty good hook sometime nothing,can't seam to do the same every time,my question is,will a wrist support help me to throw the ball the same way every time? Have tried a Cobra but its very uncomfortable. Any help would be weclome.

    Going with the information you have provided. Yes a wrist support will help you repeat shots. I assume your wrist is not as strong as it use to be.
    I would suggest either the basic firm wrist type (like the Robby's Leather Original,Robby's Leather Plus,Cobra Products - Scorpion Bowling Wrist Support) this will help keep your wrist straight.
    The other would be one of the extended type, these have a rigid plate that keeps your wrist straight plus backs up your fingers. They promote more hook and get a little more speed too.
    (Like the Master Products Power Paw,Mongoose Lifter Bowling Wrist Support,Storm Xtra Roll Wrist Support,A Striker or similar. If you can find one the CR Repeater is the best.)
    I would not use the cobra its a more advance design and takes alot of practice to use right.
