im lookin for a ball in inspiration of norm duke and walter ray. i want one that you can almost throw right down the pipe on the outside and it wont overhook on the dry outside. any suggestions?

Thats a hard question to answer without knowing your game. So much of ball selection is based on ball speed, rev rate etc. However, almost any ball is capable of playing that line with the right lane condition and surface prep and hand position.
Since that probably won't answer your question, I would look for a ball with a higher RG (taller weight block) since lower RG ball (compact weight block) will tend to roll earlier. Also select a longer pin like 4"-5". Again ,the longer the distance from the top of the core (pin) to the heavy spot (cg) the more length you will get.
For that type of a ball reaction I like to lay the ball out with the pin negative and the cg positive. You can add a flare increasing or decreasing weight hole to fine tune the ball reaction.
