At Last

I started Last night with a ten pin, picked the spare up, and strung the next 10 strikes, left another 10 pin in the last frame of the 10th... 289

Second game I strike in the first and told the other team "I'm goin' all the way this game" well it was prophetic, as I proceed to pack the pocket for the next 11 frames, finally 300, now I'm so stoked all I can think is an 800 would be the perfect capper to this night.

It wasn't meant to be, I had nothing left after the 2nd game and struggled to finish with a 191.
well 780 isn't bad, but my first sanctioned 300 was worth celebrating.

Nice shootin' Tex! Sorry about missing 800 but 780 is absolutely nothing to sneeze at. I'm sure we all wouldn't mind averaging 260 for a night...

Congrats too - I've had 3 short falls to 800 this year, 788, 792 and a 795 - We're get these eventually, but your doing what you are supposed to do - hit the pocket. We can't shoot 800 if we don't give ourselves a chance. Again congrats on the nite!
