Well surprised tonight actually had some oil on the lanes, so was able to use the Beatdown for a change.

Was working okay till the 2nd game, grips started feeling funny. Then in the 4th frame I make my shot and the ball is bouncing like a pogostick down the lane, finger grip came half way out. At least when the ball came back the grip was still there.

Funny thing was a guy next to me had the the same thing happen! Of course we couldn't find a tube glue anywhere (shop was closed) so had to switch balls.

- 182 - 175 - 210 = 566 Series, 33 game average 215.45

Not a great night, but we took all the points.

Fortunately everyone was having a time on this pair of lanes, the left was different than the right a bit. I believe because the lane machine ran out of power just before our lanes. So they had to stop and recharge which took a while, IMO they should have re-primed when they started back up.

Started off with the Beatdown but switched to the Dude before the end of game 1.

Game 2 the lanes seemed wide open, all the scores went up. Then game 3 they just went away.

- 199 - 201 - 162 = 562 Series, 36 game average 213.11

- really bad night individually, and even worse for the team...we've lost all 7pts for the last 3 weeks...thanks to a fucked up change in the pattern. I've had enough, will be speaking my mind as soon as I can speak to the owner...who also happens to be my pro shops landloard...not going to be fun.

Well another grim night indeed, everyone was struggling this pair. high series was 509 and I was second with a 492! We bowled on lanes 1&2 which turned out to be the last pair oiled.You couldn't get a read on the lanes, the pin decks were a mess. You should have seen the pins sliding around. I bagged the Bad A$$ after the first 6 frames, I had changed the surface and it was way too strong. The Dude was the only thing working for the most part.

- 257 - 238 - 200 = 695 Series, 42 game average 215.02

- they finally found the problem with the oiling machine and got rid of the hang spot at the breakpoint. was a great night overall and we even had someone shoot a 300/773!

This has been a rough 3 weeks another horrible night!

I tried all 3 balls I brought (Dude, Beatdown, BA) nothing seemed right.

With my normal swing my ball speed was down 3mph, the balls seemed to start slowing down as soon as they got to the arrows. I couldn't find one spot of oil on my equipment

I tried moving in but nothing was consistent. Watching the high rollers, speed was needed and I just couldn't do it. My arm was starting to get sore, that tells me I had started trying to muscle it down the lane. So will have to work on not doing that again. Thinking about it afterwards I felt my footwork was too slow, I was being to deliberate in my steps and it was slowing me down.

12/14 Weekend Warriors League

- 269 - 265 - 226 = 760 Series, 6 game average 215.00

- subbed for the second time on this league this year. first night only managed a 530 series for a 176 average. my handicap scores tonight were: 313, 309, 270 = 892!

- was using my Hammer Bad Ass again tonight, Awesome ball!

I'm still trying to get a feel for the Bad Ass I won. I think its been kinda of dry for it here, what kind of surface are you using and what are the conditions?

litefrozen, I've got my ball layed out with the cg in the palm and the pin 45 degrees leaving the pin about 1 1/2 to the right of my ring finger. great drilling for me. I've left the surface out of box and the lanes are medium to heavy oil when the lane puts down the shot correctly.

Hello! So glad I found this site. I'd been tracking my League games on Google docs since 2005. Going to take a while to convert. I'm a recreational bowler but have been bowling since I was a kid. I'm currently throwing an Auro Paranormal. I threw with no thumb for years until I hurt my wrist about 7 years ago and had to re-learn with traditional finger tip grip. Current 2014-2015 average 206.02. High series ever recreational play (753) High game ever recreational play (298). High League series ever (I'll have to check but I think it's in the 740 range) High League game ever (290). Other highlights include two 7-10 conversions, One when I was 15 years old with a house ball. The other last year during practice before league began. Cheers!

12/19 TGIF League

- 193 - 226 - 224 = 643 Series, 48 game average 215.15

-was position night tonight, team took 5 of 7 points( we lost the last game by 7 pins). that should move us up a few positions.


- still going with my Hammer Bad Ass bowling ball, working great, and legs starting to feel better and allowing me to bowl more the way I should.

12/23/2014 Men's Valley League

203/195/211 609 Series. 16/11/4/0 Line (Strikes/Spares/Opens/Splits) 205.85 Average through 54 games. First time all season I've gone split free. 2 of first 3 frames were opens. Then I took my knee brace off (which I'm not used to wearing) and settled in. 2 for 3 on 10 pin conversions.

Took 1 of 3 and totals (3 points) 24-32 for the 2nd third of the season and 80-46 overall. We won the first third so already locked our playoff spot down.

Guy two lanes to my left shot 16 in a row at one point and a 289. We got done early but I saw his first ball of the 3rd game was a 7-10 leave.
