  • Bowling Shoes

Hey, it's about time to get some new bowling shoes. I look at my soles, occasionally....I wear 15 AAA. That is, extremely, hard to find. Are there any "official" bowling shoes that come in my size? I'd probably have to get them custom made. Otherwise, I'll have to pick another favorite pair of shoes and get a sole sewn on for my slide.

Once, when bowling in a Pro-Am, in Edmond, Ok, a Pro-Ernie Schlegal (spelling) said my shoes weren't "official." (My wife wanted to know where he got off, making fun of my shoes?)....I guess old Ernie's bowling on the Senior Tour, by now. He may have retired by now!

    Thanks for any info.

All equipment has to be on the PBA's approved list. For example, Dynothane Dynoroos are not on the list so they can't be worn in PBA competition.

      Re: Shoes

      Perk,

I don't know too much about width measurements, but I looked on Linds web site and they have quite a few shoes in size 15 EE & 15 E. Like I said I don't know if these are good for you, but just in case here is a link. They also have a page of closeouts and discontinued shoes. My best friend purchased a pair of 15's for his son for $50. Originally they went for close to $175.
