  • How many balls should I be bringing?

2,3,4,6 What is a sensible bag to purchase? I am new to league play and I have been looking at a few tourneys this year. I dont want to have to keep buying bigger bags, but I dont care for wasting money. What do you guys think.

You can't go wrong with a 4 ball bag. That way with 4 balls you will have a ball for almost any condition you run into. If you decide you want to carry 6 balls, the 2 ball tote bags are pretty inexpensive.

I'm with BigDawg70 a 4 ball bag if your doing league and Tourny's.
Then you'd have a ball for wet, med, dry and a spareball

If all you did was league a 3 ball bag would do.

You gotta get your equipment inside

If you do buy a four ball bag, I suggest one that lets you detached the top two so you can lift it out of your trunk. When you get a little older (50) lifting 4 balls at one time isn't easy. If you can load two at a time, it is easier.

Take a look at the Storm Streamline bags. They are a little a little smaller than the Columbia or Brunswick 4 ballers. The thing I like about them is that the handle retracts farther so it fits in your trunk easier. Some of the 4 ball bags are almost too tall to fit in a car easily.
Also the Streamline has smaller inboard wheels that make it much easier to move it through a crowded bowling center. The big outboard wheels on other bags seem to catch every chair, bag etc you walk past.
