Well I have been busy and having trouble keeping up with posting my bowling scores. I have 3 outings to post. First I got called to sub last Friday night I had a 646 with 3 open frames, I must note this is a 5 on a team scratch league. In addition, the pattern changes every week and is tough at times. I used my ebonite magic which gave me the best reaction the last game and had a 236 game. My scores were 215+195+236=646 and I was high on the pair that night. I then bowled my normal Friday morning league this week, the shot was tougher this week and I used my Brunswick Siege with 1000 abralon and had a 663 with 3 opens and had scores of 245+203+215=663 and I was high for the league. Then I got the call to sub Friday night and had a 624 the shot was drier than the week, before, this shot was tough, I did have 4 open frames. I need to practice on a tougher pattern if these shots are going to be this much of a grind. I used my magic again with 2000 abralon my games were 213+226+186=624 series.

10/14 Wednesday Early Mens League


-176-234-201 = 611 Series, 24 game average 205.42

-all 3 games with my Acid tonight, figured something out with my timing that i've been having trouble with lately. need to work on that more, now that i know what it is.

230+225+174=629 Storm Rapid Fire 1000 dull. Subbed at unfamillar house. Saw a lot of the back row game 3. Should have changed balls.

10/16 TGIF Couples League


-246-245-194 = 685 Series, 18 game average 219.61

-used my Acid again tonight, same as Wed. Timing was a lot better. Only problems I had were a pocket 7-10 split, followed by a 4-9 split in frames 3 & 4 of game three...and almost an 8-10 later in the game, but thankfully the 10 fell and showed me some mercy. lol


-Wife had games of: 178-143-152 = 473 Series, 15 game average 151.80

Well this week I only bowled on Friday morning. I did pretty well having a 692 with two open frames, both were 8, 10 pocket splits. My games were 222+214+256 to the 692 series. I used my ebonite magic on the left lane and my Brunswick siege on the right. The magic had 2000 abralon and my siege had 1000 abralon pad surface. I am a firm believer in these pads and feel they are a key to pin carry and a constant bowling ball reaction.

Anneke's scores for October 15, 2009.... stability

Well this week showed stability with my scores and I wasn't as frustrated as I was the week that I bowled a 44. My scores were:

1st Game: 76
2nd Game: 108
3rd Game: 99

I bowled a 283 series and maintained my 92 average.

10/21 Wednesday Early Mens League


-189-227-204 = 620 Series, 27 game average 205.56

-still having difficulties at this house, seems like for synthetics there is an awful lot of friction and very little oil. also, ringing 4-10pins in a row on the left lane the last game didn't help any.

Week 7

Ok another week worth posting, I showed up late, and was allowed to make up 3 frames. no warm up shots... I hate to have to rush, got my shoes on and wouldn't you know it, 3 strikes, guess thats what happens when you don't think about bowling and just do it, the rest of the night was good
208-226-225=659 blew the 3rd game with an 8-10 in the 10th. should have been a 250 game.
oh well, there's always next week....
