Anneke's scores for October 1, 2009

Well I definitely did not start the month of October on my bowling league on a great note. In fact, it was my most disappointing week in the 12 years I have bowled.

My scores for October 1, 2009 were:

1st Game: 84
2nd Game: 78
3rd Game: 44

I completely choked during that last game and became frustrated.

I bowled a 206 series and my average dropped from 96 to 91.

Well, as I have said before, there is always next time.

I couldnt carry a 7-pin...and only picked up 2/7 the first 2 games...the reason why the night started terribly...at least I carried a few the 3rd game

only 1 open...a missed 7 in the 2nd game...but I followed it with a 5-bag...I started the 1st game adequately...had a big split in the middle...and did just enough...started the 3rd with a 5-bag...had a chance for a 2nd consecutive 700...but I couldnt run the page...

Tuesday average down to 208...Sunday up to 221....but it's early...

- don't know wtf was going on the first game, swing bouncing all over the place.

- switched to my Hot Sauce the 2nd game and started with the front 9, then went 7pin spare, strike in the tenth.

First two games were frustrating, unpredictable oil pattern. Had a real rough time with the ball running high at the last second (four splits in first game alone). Didn't help that I couldn't seem to get my approach form past about a 90% personal satisfaction rate.

Start of the third game, tried slowing my approach and delaying my ball push-away. First frame ball went very light, ugly leave, open frame. Starting in the second frame ripped off nine strikes in a row, my biggest string in a long time. Very satisfying end to the night.

Anneke's scores for October 8, 2009..... Redemption

Well this week I had.... redemption!!

My scores for October 8, 2009 were:

1st Game: 89
2nd Game: 93
3rd Game: 118

I bowled a 300 series and my average went from 91 to 92.
