2/12 TGIF Couples League


- Wife's scores: 208-163-139 = 510 Series, 60 game average 157.85
- the 208 is her highest game so far this season and her second 200+ game this year.


- My Scores: 214-222-224 = 660 Series, 63 game average 222.71

-just couldn't seem to get comfortable all night, could't concentrate on my mark and was pulling a lot of shots. just felt a little bit "off" all night.

Yesterday I bowled a 685 with 2 open frames a 8 -10 split and a 4 -10 split. My games were 225+234+226 fot the 685 I used a brunswick seige again this week.

2/17 Wed Early Mens League


-257-179-187 = 623 Series, 78 game Average 212.22

-first game went 4 bagger, 4pin spare, 4 bagger, 4 pin spare 4 pin.

- 2nd and 3rd game speed was to slow and ball was diving on the backends. would move left and it seemed as if the ball would break even harder. better luck next week i guess.

-257-179-187 = 623 Series, 78 Game Average 212.22


- first game went 4 bagger, 4pin spare, 4 bagger, then 4pin spare 4 pin.

- 2nd and 3rd game was inconsistant with my speed and the ball was jumping on me. would move left and the ball seemed to jump even more. there's always next week...

Today I had a 759 in our Friday morning league. I did not have any open frames today, my games were 246+256+257 for the 759. I used the ebonite playmaker and columbia full swing. In addition, I used 2000 abralon finish on both balls.

What's with these 6/7/10 splits?? Friday night league 188(2 6/7/10 splits) 192 (1 6/7/10 split) 227 for 607. Sixty two pins below average.

2/19 TGIF Couples League


-Wife's scores: 173-163-169 = 505 Series, 63 game average 158.35

- all three games over her average using her Ebonite Evolve.


Had an Awesome night with my BW Nasty

- My scores: 258-267-256 = 781 Series, 66 game average 224.42

- 1st game was: X 9/9/9/XXXXXXXX, first two were 10 pins, third was a 4 pin.

- 2nd game was: XXX8/XXXXXX9/, 8 count was a 5-7 split conversion and the 9 count was a flippin 9 pin...to much drive I guess.

- 3rd game was: XXXX9/X9/XXXX7, first 9 was another 9 pin and the second was a 6 pin, the 7 count was a 2-4-5 when I got a little fast with it. wanted it to much as it would've given me a 784 and Hi Series on the League by one pin. First is 783, with Second a 782, and I was in Third with a 767, but now it's a 781.

- we've bowled on lanes 19-20 three times so far on Friday night and I've had great Series on the pair, a 767, 706, and now a 781. Get to bowl on this pair one more time before the end of the season. Can't wait. This is also the pair I shot my first 300 game and second 800 (826) on back on 9/27/07.

Anneke's scores for February 18, 2010

Last week was an OK week for me... I had one game that really redeemed me for the other two, so I was happy.

My scores were:

1st Game: 94 - 2 pins over my average
2nd Game: 67 - Not over my average
3rd Game: 119 - 27 pins over my average

I bowled a 280 series and maintained my 92 average.

- 227-201-168 = 596 Series, 81 game average 211.72

Thought I was going to have a good night after the first 2 games. 290, 278, but then 2 6/7/10 splits and a 4/7 split in the 10th with no doubles equaled a 160 last game.

Anneke's scores for February 25, 2010

Well this week I had low scores, but I did maintain my average.... all this despite the lanes being either too oily or not oily enough.

My scores were:

1st Game: 96
2nd Game: 90
3rd Game: 93

I bowled a 279 series and maintained my 92 average.
