Anneke's scores for December 11, 2008

I am sorry I haven't posted my scores every week. But I did pretty well last night and had a great night overall.

It started when I got there. I hadn't bowled all that well the week before so I hadn't reported my scores for the high over handicap jackpot. Come to find out someone had been keeping track and I ended up winning the money for the 3rd game. So that was exciting for me.

Then my game last night showed great improvement. My scores were:

1st Game: 131
2nd Game: 136
3rd Game: 124

I bowled a 391 series and improved my average from a 113 to a 115.

My today’s bowling scores were 209+206+214 for a 629 series in my Friday morning bowling league.
I had 3 open frames one each game, in the 3rd game I missed a 10pin, the other 2 opens were splits I had trouble putting strikes together this morning. I had a good look in warm ups then I lost carry. I really think it was mostly me not getting my timing down.

I just got lost for the first 5 frames of the 2nd game...made the adjustment and got 4 of the last 5 the 2nd game...and finished the 3rd game with a 7-bag...was lucky that my man gave me the 2nd game even with giving away 42 pins...picked the average up to 218...now leading the league in winning percentage

The only word was yikes...I couldn't carry at all...the shot was terrible...there was an out of bounds on the edge that cut through the nose, so I cut my backswing and tried put shots on a spot...well I couldn't carry more than 1 or maybe 2 in a row...2 splits and only 1 open...dropped the average 2 pins to 217...

My today’s bowling scores were 204+246+249 for a 699 series in my Friday morning bowling league.
I had 2 open frames both were in the 1st game, I did not have trouble with carry today I was short on warm ups that 1st game as the weather slowed us down, I mean as in the conditions driving to the center were bad. But I did pretty well for me I used a twisted fury solid this morning.

Anneke's scores for December 18, 2008

Tonight was another great night for me and my bowling scores.

My scores for December 18, 2008 were:

1st Game: 107
2nd Game: 122
3rd Game: 168

I bowled a 397 series and my average improved from a 115 to 116.

It was also our Christmas party night. And now we are off until January 8, 2008 due to Christmas and New Year's Day.

First 600 Series

Friday Night Mixed League. I have never had a 600 series before in my 2 years but had a good feeling starting out in the first game. Had games of 224-269-201 for a 694. I am only a 165 average bowler but all went great on this night. I used my Columbia Resurgence for all three games. I was having trouble with the Cell Pearl during practice earlier in the day so never pulled it out of the bag. Now I can't wait till the 700 or even better a 300 game.

Nice series BowlerPete. I bowled my highest series so far last Thursday (559). Hopefully I'll hit 600 soon

I had 4 open frames one each game, in the 3rd game I had 2 with a big split in the 10th frame. I really am not on my game this week after having a good week last week with the 699 in the morning and a 752 in the evening. I used a brunswick twisted fury solid.

Should have done better, but was upset. I lost half my team, They changed their work hours. So had to quit.
