My today’s bowling scores were 230+237+213 for a 680 series in my Friday morning bowling league.
I had 3 open frames one each game, in the 1st game I had a big split in the 4h frame my 2nd and 3rd games I missed 2 - 10 pins. I really am not on my game this week after doing a good last weekend with the 1175 in the 5 game scratch tournament last Sunday and got 7th place and made 80 bucks. I used a brunswick twisted fury solid again.

not a bad night....I just lost focus the 3rd game...

first game went strike, spare, spare...ran off 8 in a row...9 count...2nd game...had the first 6...picked up a 7-pin..then picked up a 7-pin in the 11th...3rd game start with a strike...then 3 straight splits...ugh...then a spare...then I get 3...then chop a 4-7...and get 20 in the 10h for probably the ugliest 700 of the 40+ I have...this is #4 for the season...raised the average to a ridiculous 220...if I don't start slumping, I'm going to have to be re-rated for tournaments from last year's 206

My bowling scores today were 223+257+206 for a 686 series in my Friday morning bowling league.
I had 1 open frame a 7 - 10 split in pocket the first game. I really felt I bowled better than my score today. I started trying to hard my last game, and could not carry on the right lane, because it was tighter. I am happy with this score, but I just do not seem to have something I had a couple years back. Even though I am averaging 226 in this league something don’t feel right. I used the Brunswick Twisted Fury Solid again, I was going to try a different ball, but the fury solid has been consistent so I keep using it because if I change and bowl bad I will be P.O.ed at my self.

eliminate the silly mistakes

I was doing quite well...picked up all 7 7-pins I left...my silly mistakes were shots I shorted on the lane that resulted in not getting the right angle that left the 7...my only opens...2nd frame 1st game I left a bucket and chopped it...(that's where I realized 1 lane was 3 boards oiler than the other) 3rd game I led off with a chopped 3-6...2 short-armed releases again that didn't drive to the spot...so...

raised the average back to 217 for this league...so this means that I will be re-rated no matter what for the Men's City Tourney I will be throwing in 2 weeks...since this average won't change for 2 weeks...

took me 6 frames to find the spot I wanted to throw...then it was on...picked up 4 of my 5 7-pins...crushed the pocket on most shots...1 open...a 7 in the 2nd frame of the 1st game...another excellent night...eventho I lost the 1st game to my guy by 4...I needed the 1st strike in the 10th to shut him out

strung the first 9...shorted my angle on the 10th shot...it just didnt take the 7 with it...5th 700 of the season...raised my league leading average to a ridiculous 221

My bowling scores today were 202+194+269 for a 665 series in my friday morning bowling league.
I had 3 open frames a 6,10, 7 split in the first game and the 2nd game I had 2 opens I missed a 4 pin and a 10 pin 2 really dumb mistakes In addition, I really felt like I was out of focus my first 2 games then the light bulb kicked on for a 269. I did try a different ball at first then after the 4th frame of the 1st game I went back to the Brunswick Twisted Fury Solid again,

Anneke's scores for January 8 and 15, 2009

These past two weeks that I have been back to my bowling league since the Christmas and New Year's holidays have been up and down.

My scores for January 8, 2009 were:

1st Game: 105
2nd Game: 107
3rd Game: 135

I bowled a 347 series and maintained my 116 average.

And this past week, January 15, 2009 saw a point decline in my average. My scores were:

1st Game: 82
2nd Game: 116
3rd Game: 119

I bowled a 317 series and my average went from 116 to 115.

2 weeks of scores

I've had a pretty decent 2 weeks, with my closest shot at a 300 thus far coming in the last game 2 weeks ago. I had the front 8, then choked in the 9th and left a 4-7-10 and finished with a 255. Talk about frustrating!

My scores:
215-207-255: 677
241-221-218: 680

As of right now, I've bowled 7-600's, and I'm on a roll with 7 200 games in a row.

I'm quite pleased with myself as of late, as my average is up to 197 (from 186 at the end of last year)

I'm still aiming for a 700 this year, as I had 2 last year. BUT, in the end, I'm happy with the 600's for now, especially when you consider that this is only my 7th year bowling, and for the most part only bowling once a week.

My bowling scores today were 237+202+193 for a 632 series in my Friday morning bowling league.
I had 4 open frames a missed 10 in the 2nd game along with a 8,10 split in the 10th frame In addition to that I had a chopped 3 off the 6 spare then another split in the 10th frame of the 3rd game. I really am upset with myself today, as I had been smashing the lanes at my hometown center all week long. I never really felt loose all day today.

Tonight I bowled a 204, 200, 193. I felt all sorts of off tonight. My balance and timing were just wrong and I couldn't fix it for the life of me. how I managed to bowl as well as I did is completely beyond me.

Anneke's scores for January 22, 2009

Well my average slipped again. When I want my ball to have a curve it doesn't and when I don't it does!! It was frustrating!!

My scores were:

1st Game: 93
2nd Game: 109
3rd Game: 96

I bowled a 298 series and my average dropped from 115 to 114.

My bowling scores today were 259+227+203+247+227 for an 1163 series in my Sunday scratch sweeper they have it every month and they had a very good entry this month. I got 15th place just enough to cash the scoring pace was very good and I only had 2 open frames all day normally I have about 1 a game, but most the time I do cash in this event. I missed a 10 pin in the 10th frame of the fourth game, rolled a bad shot, and had the 6 - 7 spit in the 3rd game, which I almost picked up the 6 hit the 7 and it was not hard enough to nock it down. Well I used my Ebonite Infinite One, which is about 2 years old, and I have it drilled at ebonite’s drilling no 2, but I put the mass bias a little closer to the PAP, I have won lots of money with this ball.

234-235-179=648 series should have changed balls the last game.

At least I got two new bowlers for my team. So back to full strength.
