Well the last few weeks have been goood.
Mar 16, 2010: 279 + 231 + 277 = 787 I left this night angry cause 800 was in reach thinking back I had no good reason to be mad... Roto Grip SD-73 all night

Mar 23, 2010: 201 + 300 + 204 = 705 My second sanctioned 300 Needless to say there was no anger tonight, Happy Happy Happy SD-73 Game 1, Trauma ER Game 2 and Game 3

This week I shot: 231 + 189 + 243 = 663 I got lost in Game 2 missed some spares, switched balls and ended up with a decent series.
SD-73 Game 1, cracked the bridge out again so I had to switch to the Cell in Game 2 and 3

- really had to battle the heat tonight and the humidity. was about 85 outside and it kinda felt that way inside too...lol had to keep using the EasySlide on my thumb to get a consistant feel and not hang up to the the persperation. only two weeks left in this one, and then the Sweepstakes night. can't wait for it to be over.

4/2 TGIF Couples League


Wife finally got to bowl tonight after missing the last two weeks because of work.

Her games were: 137-168-140 = 445 Series, 75 game average is 156.43



My games were: 259-236-279 = 774 Series, 84 game average now 227.60

-been having an upbelieveable string of good fortune on Friday the last three weeks. I've had series of 760-779-774 (2,313/9 = 257.00) each of the last three weeks on Friday night. the 779 series was finished off with my 5th 299 game.

-also noted an interesting fact when I looked at the printouts I got from the counter of each of the series scores.

- 760: had 27 of 35 possible strikes, 7 spares and 1 wiffed 10 pin

- 779: had 27 of 36 possible strikes, 7 spares, no misses.(299 game)

- 774: had 27 of 35 possible strikes, 7 spares, and again, no misses


Gotta love my BW Nasty...Nothing Hits Like a Hammer!!!

4/10 Wed Early Mens League


- 257-243-235 = 735 Series, 99 game average 213.63

-was a strange night for me tonight. I haven't missed a 10pin in almost three weeks, and I start of the 1st and 3rd games leaving, and missing a 10pin. went 1 for 3 on 10pins tonight. just couldn't get comfortable with the humidity in the building again tonight, although it was about 10* cooler than it was last week.

-had 24 Strikes, 4 spares, 3 opens, and 1 split conversion, a 5-7.

-was able to stay with my BW Nasty all night and only made a small move left with my feet. had to use a lot of EasySlide on my thumb to get a smooth, consistant release due to the heat inside the building. had a lot of light tickler strikes which i've been getting a lot of lately for some reason. I've always been told, "It's not how, it's how many".

What a difficult night. Pins were off set on both lanes. Had 7 8-10 splits and 5 7-10 splits among 10 bowlers. I had 2 7-10s and 1 8-10. Bowled 192, 204, 223...619.

Another bad night of bowling 183, 223, 212. At least I got my average once.

Today I had a 674 in our Friday morning league. I had 2 open frames today my games were 217+211+246 for the 674. I used a Hammer Jigsaw Corner and A Brunswick Siege today I used 1000 abralon on both balls.

4/9 TGIF Couples League

- wife's scores: 138-167-152 = 457 Series, 78 game average 156.27


-my scores: 268-257-217 = 742 Series, 87 game average 228.28

- somehow continuing to have a hot hand on this League with my BW Nasty shooting my fourth 700+ series in a row and tenth overall. Last four series were a 760-779-774-742 = 3,055/12 = 254.58

Anneke's scores for April 1 and 8, 2010

I know it has been a while since I have posted my scores. Things have been busy.. with having gone to celebrate my aunt's 100th birthday, which was wonderful and just life in general.

I have been doing OK, bowling wise... at least I have been happy with my scores.

My scores for April 1, 2010 were:

1st Game: 102
2nd Game: 92
3rd Game: 90

I bowled a 284 series and my average went up from 93 to 94.

My scores for April 8, 2010 were:

1st Game: 99
2nd Game: 122
3rd Game: 90

I bowled a 311 series and my average stayed at 94.

4/14 Wed Early Mens League


-226-192-204 = 622 Series, 102 game average 213.44

-Highlight of the night for me, happened before we even started bowling. When unloading my bowling balls from my truck I made the realization that the case with my glasses had been forgotten at home. I'm only slightly nearsighted so I usually only wear my glasses when I bowl anyway; I just had to concentrate extra hard and keep my eyes focused on my target. Did cause me a little grief, but mainly on my 10pins. Good thing this was the last night of bowling with next week being our Sweepstakes and payout night.
