Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about BowlingTracker and Premium subscriptions.

Subscriptions & Billing

No. Free trials are offered to new subscribers only. If you cancel your subscription and then re-subscribe, you will be charged immediately at the regular rate — no trial period will apply. This policy exists to keep the service fair for everyone.

No. Access to Premium features ends immediately when your subscription is cancelled or lapses — there is no grace period through the end of a billing cycle. We recommend cancelling only when you are ready to stop using Premium features.

Subscriptions are managed through PayPal. Log in to your PayPal account, navigate to Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments, find BowlingTracker, and click Cancel. Your Premium access will be removed once the cancellation is processed.

We currently offer a monthly and an annual plan. The annual plan provides a discount compared to paying month-to-month. Visit the Premium page for current pricing.

Ball specifications (RG, differential, coverstock, etc.) are gathered automatically from the internet as needed. Because this process relies on third-party sources, some balls may have incomplete or missing data. Our staff manually reviews and fills in gaps over time, so if you notice something missing, it will likely be corrected in a future update.

No — this is expected. The position of the CG and PSA relative to the pin varies from ball to ball, even within the same model and production run. The values shown are intended to give you a general idea of what your layout will look like, not a precise match to your specific ball. Always verify with your ball driller before drilling.

BowlingTracker currently supports Dual Angle and VLS (Val Vamos Layout System) drilling layouts. TLS (Three-Line System) is currently in development and will be available in a future update. The fitting and layout UI is also being actively improved — expect a more polished experience soon.
Using BowlingTracker

Free accounts can create stat sheets, enter scores, view public profiles, save favorites, and track one ball in the Arsenal. Performance charts and advanced analytics require a Premium subscription.

Yes. When creating or editing a stat sheet, check the Keep Private option. Private stat sheets are only visible to you when logged in and will not appear in public search results.
