My bowling scores this week were 262+300+300 for an 862 series in my Friday morning bowling league.
1t was our fun day so we bowled a 9 pin I only had 1 ball out of the pocket it was the big 4 in the first game I got 5th place because I had to bowl scratch. In addition, I used my virtual gravity from storm this time. Well that is it for my bowling this season, but I am bowling in our monthly scratch tournament and a sport league and then some practice, but I will be cutting back to have a break from it. I will do some fishing and golfing this summer for something different to do.

Last week was rough... started out well with a 223... but then went 141 and 157... i HATE bowling against a blind. would rather bowl against walter ray than an absentee bowler, because all i can think of is a number, not the opponent. anywho, tonight is last regular season week and next week is roll-off.

Anneke's scores for April 16 and 23, 2009

I am FINALLY back online after having computer problems and then having to purchase a new computer.

And I FINALLY was able to use my new bowling ball these last couple of weeks. And despite my low scores, I have been happy with my new ball because I am not getting as many splits as I was before.

My scores for April 16, 2009 were:

1st Game: 94
2nd Game: 120
3rd Game: 99

I bowled a 313 series and maintained my 112 average.

My scores for April 23, 2009 were:

1st Game: 89
2nd Game: 103
3rd Game: 98

I bowled a 290 series and my average dropped from a 112 to 111.

My bowling scores today were 256+212+208+248+182 for an 1106 series in our local monthly scratch tournament I averaged 221 for the 5 game sweeper and only had 4 open frames. I missed 2,10 pins and had a 7 + 10 and a 8 + 10 in the pocket. I never cashed this month, but I did get money back for a high game. I just had trouble getting lined up today and was debating whether I should bowl today as my mental game was not there. I was going out with the ball to much there was a little to much wiggle if I crossed the oil going out and could not line up with a more direct shot. I did get 6th lace last month and usually cash in this event

So we had our step-ladder roll-off for our league title last night, and our team was #1 seed... all 3 of the matches before us were decided by less than 20 pins, so we knew it was going to be a close match...

we lost 792-790 in the title match... i could probably think of about 4 different reasons why those two pins could be my fault, but no worries... that's what competition is all about, that's what makes the sport so great.

Starting our individual PBAX weekly tournaments in two weeks, and I just got myself a new BWS... just gotta get it drilled and i'll be ready to rock.

Anneke's scores for April 30, 2009

Well my last week of bowling is now over... and I have to say that I am glad it is. It was the longest night of my life. The team we bowled against did not keep up the pace and were drunk and it just got tiring.

My scores for April 30th were:

1st Game: 77
2nd Game: 102
3rd Game: 149

I bowled a 328 series and maintained my 111 average.
