Last night we started our Summer Sport Doubles League it is suppose to be like a PBX league, but it is not sanctioned and is 4 games. Well last night we were suppose to be bowling on the PBA chameleon pattern. I must note this is a wood bowling center; well I had games of 167+189+200+213 for a 771 series. This shot was tough at first as the lane conditions hooked a lot more than I expected, but after I moved far enough left and changed balls I had a pretty good shot. I used my Virtual Gravity my first 3 games and then changed to my Ebonite Magic the last game. This is a lot different than the house patterns I have been bowling on. They say next week we will be bowling on the scorpion pattern. I bowl on sport patterns every summer if I can.

Ok so last night was the very first time I've bowled in a PBA Experience League... We were on the Shark pattern, and I used my BWB since it's got quite a bit of surface on it and started out with my normal line: sliding foot starting at 32, aim at 15 at the arrows. This shot worked for about two shots in practice, and then the ball just started hanging outside.

Long story short, moved left with my feet and my target, and stuck with the BWB the entire night. 192, 184, 165 (opened 8, 9, and 10), and 235. 4 game set = 776. With payouts at a 1:5 ratio, and with 43 people and my score coming in 8th place, I was able to get my money back

2nd Week of Summer Sport Doubles League

Last night in our Summer Sport Doubles League it is suppose to be like a PBX league, but it is not sanctioned and is 4 games. Well last night was our 2nd week we were suppose to be bowling on the PBA Scorpion pattern. I must note this is a wood bowling center; well I had games of 162+236+224+192 for an 814 series. This shot was not as tough as last week; the pattern is suppose to be 2 ft longer and I played the lanes about the same area first as last week and used my ebonite magic. This ball seems to work good on these conditions for me I did adjust the surface with 2000 abralon. I bowl on sport patterns every summer if I can.

3rd Week of Summer Sport Doubles League

Last night in our Summer Sport Doubles League which is suppose to be like a PBX league, but it is not sanctioned and we bowl 4 games. Well last night was our 3rd week we were suppose to be bowling on the PBA Cheetah pattern. I must note this is a wood bowling center; well I had games of 184+189+243+202 for an 818 series. This shot was not bad really, but I had to make sure that I swung the ball because there was no hold; the pattern is suppose to be short pattern. I really did not have a shot up the 3 board like they say, but I did have lots of swing area from about 13 board at the arrows to 5 board at the breakpoint. I could strike, but I had tons of open frames like 2 or 3 a game. In the 3rd game I had a 242 with an open in the 10th frame. In addition, I used my ebonite magic again this week. The magic seems to respond really well to the patterns so far. I did adjust the surface of the ball with 2000 abralon. In addition, I try to bowl on sport patterns every summer if I can.

4th Week of Summer Sport Doubles League

Last night in our Summer Sport Doubles League which is suppose to be like a PBX league, but it is not sanctioned and we bowl 4 games. Well last night was our 4th week we were suppose to be bowling on the PBA Viper pattern. I must note this is a wood bowling center; well I had games of 182+245+193+235 for an 855 series. This shot was not bad really, but I had to make sure that I did not swing the ball outside to far as it would hang. In addition, I had to roll it straighter and harder up the track area there really was not much hold; this was suppose to be a 38 ft pattern. I used my Storm Virtual Gravity this week. I did adjust the surface of the ball with 2000 abralon. In addition, I try to bowl on sport patterns every summer if I can.

bowled a Hi Roller tournament today at one of the houses I bowl league at. shot games of 169-267-245 = 681, finally felt like i was getting my timing back under control. have been bowling terribly the last 5 weeks or so. ended up finishing 6th in my average division, and also won $50 on a strike pot ticket.

Week 2 of summer league, started out good with the Cell, straight up 10...227-225- lost my shot and switched to the Quake, finished with 170 uhh, should have been a 670 but was not to be.

5th Week of Summer Sport Doubles League

This week in our Summer Sport Doubles League which is suppose to be like a PBX league, but it is not sanctioned and we bowl 4 games. Well last night was our 5th week we were suppose to be bowling on the PBA Shark pattern. I must note this is a wood bowling center; well I had games of 192+215+193+205 for an 805 series. This shot was a little tougher than the others, but I had to make sure that I kept the ball insider and did not swing the ball outside to far as it would hang. This was supposed to be a 44 ft pattern. I used my Storm Virtual Gravity this week. I did adjust the surface of the ball with 2000 abralon. In addition, I try to bowl on sport patterns every summer if I can.

did some practicing yesterday and also was trying to find the right heel/sole combo on my new SST8 bowling shoes.

shot a 225 with my old shoes on trying to just get warmed up. then switched to the new shoes and after a couple of experimental slides proceeded to shoot a 276 and a 215. got tired and just wanted to finish the fourth game and shot a miserable 173 for an 889 total.

6/22/09 - Scorpion

162 - 192 - 163 - 145... yeah it was a bad night. Still in 4th place overall.
