Finally picked up my new Hammer Jigsaw today and practiced with it a few games.

- 2nd game went 9/ X 9/ X X X X X X X X X = 270
- 3rd game went X X X X X X X X X 9- = 267
- 18 in a row at one point, Great ball and cannot wait to throw it in league.

Summer Bummer?

Wow I finally shot something worth Posting, this summer has been a struggle to say the least, the pattern has been tough, much like a PBA flat pattern with an out of bounds area outside of 10, there is so much oil on the backends even my strongest ball is having trouble hooking. I've been killing myself and only managed to average 188 to this point.

I used the Virtual Gravity all night, straight up the 10 board, I didn't have to move an inch (this never happens) I started out with an open in game 1 and ended up with a 224, next game should have been 280 but I missed a 10 pin and something else for a 248
Game 3 I struggled, I was in the pocket almost the whole game but lost my carry, and threw a few pulled shots, missed a 10 pin and ended up with 210
so final totals look like this...

224-248-210=682 should have been 700, but that's how it goes!

My team is in first place with position round to go next week.
maybe I'll make a little money this summer.

-had a great night with my Sauce, tried adjusting my swing the second game instead of moving; finally moved at the start of the 3rd game. went 10 pin spare, 10 bagger, then a RINGING 10pin on the fill ball.

Thanks, ya the second game was a killer. I tried adjusting my swing to set the ball in about a board or so instead of moving my feet, turned out to be a mistake. lesson learned i hope.

Final night of summer league, we took all 4. we are the 1st place team!
my series started out slow with a 187, game 2 199, it came together in game 3 with a 248, 634 series, I haven't bowled too well this summer, but winter league is right around the corner.
I'm headed up to the Sierras tomorow for a week of trout fishing and relaxing so all is well!
