*doing the secretary thing again this year, so the first few weeks will be fun. once the USBC cards are out of the way it will get much better, and i'll be able to concentrate more on my game.

Anneke's scores for September 10, 2009

This week on my league night showed some improvement. My scores were:

1st Game: 125
2nd Game: 111
3rd Game: 78

I bowled a 314 series and improved my average to a 99.

Week 2, not much better than week 1,
more oil tonight but not enough.
Game 1, I brought out an old urethane ball (Ebonite Nitro) and had a good reaction but carry was not great, 200

Game 2 I switched to another oldie (Storm Trauma ER) this ball is drilled to go long, it did and I had trouble getting it to the pocket, 174.

Game 3 I switched to the polished cell and if it wasn't for missing single pin spares on the left side I would have had a better game, 191

9/16 Wed Early Mens League

-finally getting average going in the right direction.
-used my Jigsaw all three games and finally kept up with the moves left.

Well after having a great week last week I struggled with a 558 series today, this was one of my worst outings in over a year. I had a 156 my second game and 7 open frames over all. I realize I was not rolling the ball well and trying to look positively at it. You have to take he good with the bad and old friend once told me. I have only had 1 game under 200 in the last 6, but it killed me. The hole league was down though and a few average in the 215 range. Well PMA a new start, and I hope I am more in tune next week. I did have two 8,10s and a 7,10 in the pocket.

-had 23 strikes, 6-9count spares, and 3-9counts with a miss(4,9,10)
-all games using the Jigsaw.



-wife shot games of: 157-156-146 = 459 Series, 6 game average 151.83
-used her Ebonite Evolve for all three games.

Well this week showed that I can maintain my average..... which I did.

My scores for September 17, 2009 were:

1st Game: 99
2nd Game: 116
3rd Game: 83

I bowled a 298 series and maintained my 99 average.

good start

well...I guess I better post my season start...lol

1st sunday was 3 weeks ago: 180-170-221 571
the lanes were in summer condition...I could barely keep the ball on the left side of the lane...

have bowled 2 Tuesdays so far:

the 675 actually had 7 blows....5 missed 7-pins a chopped sleeper in the 10th of the 1st game that bookended a pocket 7-10 to start the 1st game....coulda been an easy 700...I was stringing strikes like mad...

subbed this past Thursday and was just consistent:

only had 1 missed 7 pin...and threw a split in the 10th of the 3rd game...I just couldn't put strings of strikes together...

Tonite:

1st one in the book for the season...no opens...1 picked up baby split...picked up both 7-pins I left...only mistakes I made were a few short arm shots...but carried a couple brooklyns...

averages are 219 and 216...but it's early...
