This week I had a 747 series in my Friday morning league. I posted games of 246+268+233 for the 747 series. I did have 1 open frames, all in my 3rd game, I left an 8, 10 pin split had and split in the 6h frame. I had a good look and broke the 3rd game jinks. I used my Ebonite Magic with 2000 abralon finish on right lane and an ebonite playmaker with 2000 abralon on the left., again I still think more people should use abralon pads than do they really keep a consistent bowling ball reaction.

12/23 Wed Early Mens League


-184-210-226 = 620 Series, 54 game average 207.59

-shot still not much better tonight, oil seemed to disappear early. ended up just cranking up the speed with my Hot Sauce and hoping for the best.

I am new to this forum... and let's just start with my average/scores are not nearly as high as some others in this group!

Have been bowling for 20+ years, but finally got serious this year and switched to a basic hook ball... it's been about 12 weeks and I'm still struggling:

Tue Ladies League: 135, 165, 145
Wed Mixed League: 130, 169, 174

Yep, I'm all over the place... which is what I'm trying to fix!

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!

My scores for this past week weren't as great as I would have hoped. I don't know what is wrong... whether it is the lanes or me.

My scores were:

1st Game: 76
2nd Game: 86
3rd Game: 71

I bowled a 233 series and my average went from 92 to 91.

Well for the last time this year, my scores were low, but I did maintain my average... so I was happy with that.

My scores were:

1st Game: 108
2nd Game: 82
3rd Game: 85

I bowled a 275 series and maintained my 91 average.

1/06 Wed Early Mens League


-223-214-233 = 670 Series, 60 game average 208.48

-we were bowling by ourselves against the "blind" team on lanes 1-2, so I decided to move left five boards on the approach to 25 and in to around 3rd arrow as my target during practice. Ended practice targeting around 12-13 at the arrows and bowled the first two games with my Jigsaw. The third game I switched to my Hot Sauce. Starting to get things figured out in this house, not a frustrating as it has been.

1/8 TGIF Couples League


- wife's scores: 192-151-135 = 478 Series, 45 game average 156.93

-my scores: 247-220-258 = 725 Series, 48 game average 222.31

-first night back bowling in two weeks on this League due to the Holidays...and it's position night of all things... team started the night in 3rd place and we could've made it to 2nd with a little help from the 2nd place team, if they lost all seven points. they won one game worth two points, and we won all seven of our points so we finished in 3rd place 1 1/2 points out of second...so close.

- most exciting thing of the night was seeing a young lady start a game with the front 10, and finish with a 289 game. she also started with the front 10 strikes back on 1/3 last sunday. she's never bowled a 300 yet, but she's knocking on the door awefully hard now.

This week I had a 739 series in my Friday morning league after a 2 week lay off of league because of the holiday‘s. I posted games of 246+257+236 for the 739 series. I did have 2 open frames, a 8 10 pocket split in the 1st game and I missed a 10 pin in the 3rd game. I used my Ebonite Magic with 2000 abralon finish on right lane and an Brunswick Siege with 1000 abralon on the left

Had a good night, 28 clean, missed a 7 pin and a 4 pin. UGggg!
237+232+213=682, not too bad, looking forward to next week.

- Used my new Jigsaw Corner that I had drilled up today. This ball is very surprising, definately stronger off the corner than the original Jigsaw; it hits a lot harder also. I didn't make the right move in the last game and left back to back splits in the sixth and seventh before I moved further inside to find the oil. When I moved, I'd inadvertantly moved into someone else's line and I should've moved deeper to get inside their line which I did in the eigth frame.

Nice Shootin I did not think the corner was out yet - I will get mine a couple weeks.
